What makes you think Superman and Thor are close in either strength or durability? LGDB: Objectivity. I'm basing it off of what we've seen in the comics, and more in this case the movies; not some ravenous need to have one character come out on top. I mean the truth is there's very little evidence or ways to make a direct comparison, so I think any confidence here has more to do with your affinity for Superman than "evidence." Thor's lightning isn't slowing down Superman when he took Doomsday's lightning blast like minor breeze. Not that Superman needs super speed here but if he uses super speed, the fight would be over before Thor even blinks. LGDB: Thor has a pretty good record against characters with super speed. Like Hyperion, Gladiator, etc. Must be the godly reflexes. And what makes you think Thor and Doomsday are close in lightning strength or lightning durability? cheers, ---the late great Donald Blake | |||||||
