I believe this was debated intensely in the past.

You are correct that during the Gorr storyline, it was indeed mentioned that Old King Thor was feeling the Thor Force again. Meaning that it had waned like you said.

But as far as I recall it was never said in the Galactus vs. Old King Thor how much time had gone by between the Gorr saga and this one. And it wasn't said whether the Thor Force had returned to 100%, 75%, 50%, etc. etc.

The last thing that was said about it was that Old King Thor was feeling the power again. And he used that power when fighting Gorr. In my opinion, it's conjecture to think that the power had not returned. Just like it might be conjecture to assume it had returned to 100%.

Either way, Galactus definitely won the fight against Old King Thor. While some don't believe it was conclusive because they aren't sure how much of the Thor Force he was wielding, it certainly doesn't help one's argument if they believe Odin is greater than Galactus.

Agreed but I will say that Galactus faced a weakened OKT and IMO this is not a clear suggestion as what type of outcome would really happen. I also didn't say Odin was greater than Galactus or vice versa but I am saying that they are peers  and play in the same ball park.

So, I do think it is conjecture to state that OKT was weakened. I'll say that it is possible. But we don't know for sure.

OKT was definitely weakened when current Thor meets him in the future. But then he said he was feeling the power again. Then nothing was said after that to give us an indication of what % the power was at. The Galactus fight could have happened 500 years after Gorr and the power could have returned 100% by then. We just don't know.

It's more reasonable to say, in my opinion, that Galactus was the weakened one going into that fight. After all, he was there to consume Earth. If he was trying to consumer a planet, we can assume this was a hungry Galactus.

Are they peers? I would agree with that. But I would say they are peers in the same way that:

Spider-Man is a peer to Carnage
Thing's strength is a peer to Hulk's strength
Emma Frost's telepathy is a peer to Professor X's telepathy

My opinion is that Odin has to punch up to take on Galactus. Kind of elevate his game a bit. Just my two cents.
