            Icing on what cake? You just claimed there is no precedent, therefore there's no cake on which to add icing. You're not making the least bit of sense while still being a hypocrite by quoting Jurgens while simultaneously saying "interviews are irrelevant" in another thread when the interview completely goes against your point of view.
          Superman being above Surfer. Jurgens can't set precedent because of one statement. It's purely from comics.
        But there is no precedent set in the comics so there can be no icing on any cake, which is what I just wrote before but you just repeated yourself nonsensically!
      Yes, there is. Surfer was shown as an underdog against Cyborg Superman and Thor. Both of whom Superman has defeated cleanly.

How am I wrong about Surfer and Cyborg? Cyborg staggered Surfer, Surfer had to dodge his attacks and Surfer's blasts was easily tanked by Cyborg.

Superman vs Venom is an outlier just like Hulk losing to Spider-Man or Captain America or Surfer getting koed by a brick from Karnak.

            Well, that's your unproven assumption. That whole thread was a debate about who's more powerful between Superman and Darkseid. I posted three fights in which Superman outright defeated Darkseid and named three fights in which Superman stalemated Darkseid. You tried to name "far more" and only came up with seven, most of which were not remotely close to wins for Darkseid. In two of those examples, you use a young, inexperienced Superman, which you try to excuse losing to Orion in this very thread for being young. You flip flop on your criteria all the time depending on which character you want to promote.
          That's not even debatable. Superman was unable to scratch apokolptian missiles. Weakened Darkseid evaporated the same missiles.
        Desperation move. Everyone on this board accepts direct head-to-head results way over random feats. Direct head-to-head results: Superman 3, Darkseid 0. Who cares how Superman and Darkseid compare against missiles or one instance against Cyborg Superman when Superman has outright beaten Darkseid on his own three different times?
      Superman has only beaten Darkseid when he is hit by his own omega beams which are far superior to anything Superman can dish out.

Here it contradicts nothing. Your entire logic is that interviews are fine as long as they suit you.
