Quote: Quote: Quote: Quote: Entropy in DC is stated to be lack of energy and matter. Hence why when Superman dies in Superman 173 and brought back to life in AOS 595, he states he died because of entropy. Quote: This whole thread is filled with you just making up stuff. Is it now? When Superman dies in AOS 595 and is resurrected, he states he died because of Entropy in Imperiex energy. That's what killed Doomsday. Quote: Quote: Quote: Quote: Quote: Superman was more powerful than before he died, BUT that power-up is different from the extra power you are referring to when he lost control of his powers.Of course it has everything to do with the power up. Quote: Nope. You're referencing two different stories. It's the same story. http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-rqhEtipG51A/Vw9ZpVh0qWI/AAAAAAAABjw/LSS5im4zVrcU3CHdVnkB1CeLVuSi_-7xgCCo/s1600-Ic42/RCO018.jpg http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-uu_YpgpmzBU/Vw9ZpcAFIsI/AAAAAAAABjw/4VRWKDOb_OYUmk-YQDFV8hvhMDyVy5_UgCCo/s1600-Ic42/RCO019.jpg "All that extra powers almost proved his undoing. It started to change him". Still in denial? Quote: Quote: Quote: Quote: Quote: I've posted scans as well. You're just in denial now. Quote: Scans from two different stories that don't have to do with each other. You want to act as if the Superman who was very much powered up and losing control of his powers is the same version of Superman in H/P who wasn't losing control of his powers and was only powered-up by his permanent but new power-up from the Eradicator incident. Both are the same. Explicitly stated that the extra power he gained changed him. Quote: Quote: Quote: Quote: Quote: Quote: So Superman is indeed a million times more powerful than Thor? Quote: The comics, as per the scans in this very thread, show Superman thoroughly beating Darkseid three different times. The comics show Doomsday beating Darkseid to near death. So your assertion that the comics don't reflect Jurgens' opinion is pretty questionable. Also, if Jurgens is irrelevant, why do you keep citing his retraction regarding Superman being a million times stronger than Thor as being meaningful? You sure act as if it's meaningful, amusingly what was retracted is most meaningful to you of all.Superman only defeated Darkseid when he was injured by his own omega beams. You don't have any counter for that and never will. Darkseid oneshots Doomsday and later revealed to have killed him. He defeated Cyborg Superman easily when Superman couldn't. He beats Superman down without omega beams. The comics unequivocally show Darkseid>Superman. There is nothing to indicate Superman can beat Darkseid without Darkseid hit by omega beams. Quote: Quote: Quote: Quote: It links to a post from Thor board which is not found. It's not part of the interview. Quote: Hilarious! You ask for the post linked to in the interview. I give it to you, and then you say it doesn't count! In other threads going on right now, you cite authorial intention but then dismiss authorial intention when it goes against your beliefs. It's not a part of the interview as you suggested. It's not admissible as such. Quote: Quote: Quote: Quote: What you interpret is not what is stated in the interview. Jurgens meant that Superman is millions of times more powerful in THAT interview. As you take Darkseid comment seriously, take that as well. I don't take that whole interview seriously. But as you are using that as a proof, be prepared to really what you sow. Quote: Except he wrote Doomsday practically killing Darkseid and then Superman giving Doomsday a much tougher fight than Darkseid did. So, no. You want to take into account all kinds of outside comparisons with Cyborg Superman that are irrelevant.Jurgens wrote Darkseid oneshot Doomsday. Superman never even came near to do that even with a sucker shot. He also wrote Darkseid disintegrated missiles Superman couldn't scratch and oneshots Cyborg Superman when Superman couldn't. Not to mention Superman being powered up so much and needing mother box to even stand up against Doomsday. So no, he didn't write Darkseid below Superman in power. He was more powerful than an amped Superman. | |||||||
