While browsing the net, I come from time to time upon webpages, blogs etc., run by conservative Christians from the States. Among other topics, they give their opinions there about what they do consider as a modest dress. Those opinions vary - but some of those Christians advocate that, for example, women's dress should look like this:
I'd like to ask - how many of American Christians share those views? For example, is it common to see women dressed like that on the streets etc.? Do many of American Christians agree about the necessity of plain dress and head coverings for women - or are those a minority views?
I don't mean to offend anyone - I'm asking out of curiosity, as I'm a little interested in religion, various Christian denominations etc.
The majority of people in the states are Christians. Not sure if it's 70%, or maybe 80%. Anyway, if you want to see how they dress, simply look at any tv show, movie, or pictures from the U.S. . . . (No, not a period piece.
Anything with a contemporary setting.)
