Only if they could split themselves into many little pieces. Or maybe I'm naive and I simply can't fathom how these candidates could possibly move any faster and spend any more money than they already do. Logically, though, it seems that a smaller window of time would correlate with less money spent.

Like that recent commercial? Forget the company.

Candidates can always spend more money. You just have too much faith that candidates will spend their money wisely.

For time, they would just begin to campaign earlier, visiting throughout the country 2 years before the election.

And then, instead of making stops to give speeches when they get closer to the primaries, they would substitute that with more commercials.

So the week before the primary, almost all commercials would be for some candidate.
