So, still politics, but politics and education. What does everyone think.


i guess i'm still of two minds when it comes to school vouchers

one my thinking is is it constitutional or appropriate for the government to do it

the other comes from working in a private school that allows for ed choice students to come to....and they are clearly benefitting from that.

I'm sort with McCain on this....but they both have some interesting thoughts and ideas.....only because nearly $60 billion spent on education on the federal level seems big enough to be adding more to especially once local and state funding get added in

as for one thing i'd like to see....is a provision to help teachers get a graduate degree free in states that make it requirement. i just spent $40,000 on getting to be certified as teacher...but in a few years i have to go back out and spend the near same amount again just for masters because it's a requirement in ohio. nothing liked sending teachers into more debt.
