if anything, this election seems to have gotten people interested in "the process" more than any election in recent memory (and that probably has as much to do with Clinton being a woman as with Obama being black). on a whole i would say that's a good thing, and indicative of the progress this country has made (though i still think there's plenty more room for growth).

as for Ann, i would say she a spiffy looking lady to be 106. going by the picture i would've guessed she was no more than 85 or so.
