I'm going to echo the comment made regarding "we only use 10% of our brains" and state that it's a myth.
In order to utilize "the other 90%" all at once, you have to understand what each part of the brain is designed for, and then use it accordingly. With practice, you could take the phrase "multi-tasking" to a whole new level provided that you properly balance physical tasks with mental ones, along with training yourself to use your "off-hand" (your left if you're right-handed and vice versa) and utilizing your legs and feet in ways they weren't meant to be used. As for "mental powers", it'll never happen because that's just science fiction and not reality.
the whole "using only 10% of brain" is a made up figure and not true at all.
