What are the differences between them, or are they inter-changable? If they are not then what is to stop us having an 'evil' mind and a 'good' soul?

I don't believe in a soul so to me it's a pointless question. We are all a collection of our memories, our instincts, chemical reactions etc. Their is nothing unique about any of us. We are all just amalgams who store information like computers and we change our minds when we get new information or we don't.

This is the direction I was going to take. It's obvious that looking at brain damage, that it affects memory and perception, which changes the mind, therfore this leads to the environment affecting the soul if the two are interwined.

If they are different than what is the difference?
