    ... granted, I don't believe in a "soul," so the easy answer would be that one is real, while the other is not.

    But that is neither here nor there. If we do indeed have souls, they are most definitely not interchangeable. Be it from brain damage, a disease, a birth defect, or even a traumatizng experience... a mind can be damaged in irreparable ways.

    If we truly do possess immortal souls, I would think that a soul would be unaffected by this type of mental damage.

Why? If a person becomes a drug addict (let's say meth) and becomes so addicted that they steal and kill for the drug then wouldn't this soul be affected by 1) the evil they do, 2) the deterioration of their brains 3)the perversion of their personality?

Or are we not buying into the whole good soul bad soul thing and just saying everyone has one it just doesn't matter how they use it?

Reverend Meteor (doesn't believe in a soul either...totally hypothetical argument)

If someone has to much testerone going around thier system due to hereditary genes and are more liable to commit crimes do they have a bad mind or a bad soul?
