It doesn't seem to be a matter of speed, really. Those guys are actually quite effective. They just don't give a flying fuck if the animal is suffering excruciating pain.

I'm just wondering why it wouldn't be more efficient to kill them first? It's not like killing an animal takes that long. It should save you time (don't have to beat the animals, don't have to waste time eventually killing them, fighting them while they resist, etc). Even clean up would be easier since I'm sure these dieing animals try to run. Plus beating them could ruin the fur anyway.

This would be a major part of the article if it's attempting to be non-biased (why do you do this process?). But I just read the post and didn't click on anything.

And yeah, I do agree with you that all 'civilized' governments should tax insanely this "product". And then, let the activists throw paint at the rich biches who'll buy the damned thing anyway.

And then those rich biches should be allowed to sue whoever does that. They'd get back the cost of the coat, which we all agree would be expensive, and then get a huge "emotional distress" payment as well. I imagine having paint aka symbolized blood thrown on you would be quite traumatic. That's also assault. But I also wouldn't advocate the destruction of private property anyway.

Do we draw the line at leather? I still like leather products. I also like meat. Is it okay to kill a cow for meat, but not okay to kill the cow for leather?
