You are correct. I guess i used a loaded word right there. I do belive that it is an excuse. I also think the 'rebel' nature of the confederate flag to be an excuse as well. For the majority of this i'm just trying to push the conversation along.

How about if someone said that the star of david just reminded them of the betrayal of christ, and thus an offensive symbol.

It's about the "N" word discussed above.

I was just curious what it DOES mean to say, a black comedian who uses the word? I know what it means when a white person uses it towards a black person, but what, exactly, does it mean when it's used black-on-black?

I'm NOT trying to start a flame war of any sort here, nor am I trying to be offensive in the least. I'm sorry if this post offends ANYONE in the least. I'm just honestly curious.
