Yeah but the thing i'm getting at is that these other wiki's are often (but not always) of very poor quality e.g. robocop, the walking dead e.t.c (as well as the fact that trans wiki articles are often of very poor quality and are not updated as frequently)
if the info was left on wikipedia as well as these places there would be more if not better quality information.




That's true. Perhaps the best solution would be for Wikipedia to institute a "you delete it - - you move it" policy for material with devoted Wikis elsewhere. That way Wikipedia gets to look more "professional" or whatever, and the tailored wikis gain a lot of info and quality.

Since that isn't happening, though, I sympathize greatly with your frustration and agree that blind deletion on "Notability" or whatever grounds is a lousy policy.
