    1) Kathy Griffith thing?

She did it to be provocative, and she got a reaction. It's a little disingenuous of her to claim victim status because the reaction was bigger than she expected. As my grandma used to say, you don't mess with crazy, and she should have known better. I do give her credit for the speed and wording of her apology, though. As for the act itself, it was in very poor taste. I want Trump impeached, certainly not beheaded. I'm looking forward to seeing how he turns his resignation into an act of victory.

    2) The Shooting of the republicans at the practice field

A grotesque act from a sick mind. I'm passionate about politics, but if you can get whipped up by politics to the point of murderous violence - there's something deeply wrong with you.

Does the Left need to calm down like our actor from Capt America (Chris Evans) movies has publically stated? Who was attacked from both sides for stating (paraphrasing) - "That Trump is our President makes me angry and sick to my stomach but people need to calm down and stop with all the hate."

Does the left need to calm down? No. They are justifiably outraged by the antics of the least qualified president in history. They should continue to criticize and push for his removal. I will say that both sides should choose their words carefully going forward, knowing that the mentally ill may use their words as an incitement to violence. If that's where this is heading, just have a civil war again and get it over with.

Do we need to reject the hate? Absolutely. Every day, in every way.

And a lean, silent figure slowly fades into the gathering darkness, aware at last that in this world, with great power there must also come -- great responsibility!
