    I've been asking you guys about North American topics so I though maybe I should ask about something closer to my world.

    I have no problem accepting refugees but I would only accept female refugees or children under 13. I would not accept young men. Why, because if my country was being attacked, I would want to stay and defend it. I would want my wife and children (and all women and children) to be safer but I would feel guilty leaving.

    It might seem a bit sexist to save the women but I'm still a bit chivalrous.

    The problem is that the majority of the refugees seem to be young men in their 20s is suspect to me making me think they are economic rather than endangered refugees.

How does one even sort them out in the first place. One usually connects to the other at some point. Pending the levels of support provided.

Men run from war like women do. And people can potentially lie about intentions. It really gets muddy fast.

thats why i think a blanket policy like age and gender is the only answer.

Yes, men do run from war but should they? If your country was being attacked, would you run away?
