You're sorry you agreed with me so now you no longer agree?

You called me out for agreeing with you. I am not sure why you did it the way you did, but you did.

You said you are sorry you agreed. I'm just asking if you no longer agree since you seem to be cross with me.

My point is, there are a lot of people, myself included who are on your side in many things and might be pursuaded by you for others. But not if you talk down to them.

Not that I have been able to tell. And I am skeptical that many people here can be persuaded of much of anything. That is not you , but that is what I take from people in general.

Probably true, but your style doesn't really work for me. I think you have some important points to make but they probably get lost in your confrontational style. Think of it as advice to help you be more pursuasive. Honest advice. Don't read beyond what is written or look for a backhanded remark in what I'm saying. I'm really trying to communicate amicably here. no sarcasm.

You critised me for being easily pursuaded. Which I was not. I was looking for a good counter argument.

I'm not dismissing you but trying to illustrate (poorly, I guess) how it is that telling people "I'm very concerned by how easily you are pusuaded" is not a good way to influence people.

Yes you are. And you are referring to the post below. My take was that you saw a video that agreed in part with something you already felt. And you quoted the stats as the reason. Then that was game over.

Thanks for telling me about my inner workings. Interesting psychoanalysis. I put up a video looking for counters to the argument presented and you assume deep down I must agree. (PS. I hate to bring it up, but we are talking about a place where I don't live, so anecdotal evidence is less likely to influence me as I dont have any personally to fall back on. Also, I have no "skin in the game"per se. Systemic racism doesn't affect me in any way, hence my curiosity)

I said early on that I felt like the presenter, that there is systemic racism in your country. I was looking for a good counterpoint to Elder. I was less pursuaded by his stats than to his challenge.

Anyway, if you want to pack up your toys and leave the conversation I'll understand. No hard feelings.

Yes, please go on about talking down to people with quotes like this.

Don't play the holier-than-thou act. You have been condescending to me as well. \:\-\)
