There is a difference between disapproving of something someone does and hating them. For some it is both and that's a bad thing. But hes free to disapprove of homosexual activity as long as he does not cause harm and is willing to accept your disapproval of him.

It all amounts to the same. He feels a sense of superiority over gays because, "they're sinners" and he is "one of God's chosen ones."

    And I'm sick of it.

Christians like him get to strut around like the cock of the walk. While they complain they are the ones being oppressed because people are saying happy holidays or they have to sell gays cakes. Meanwhile gays are bullied all their lives and are in some neighborhoods are afraid to hold hands in public for fear of getting beat half to death.

I don't think it does at all. Saying you don't approve of someone's choice does not always mean you feel superior. It can though. But that's also human nature...people often "feel" superior when they think they are in the right.

I would say gay people feel morally superior to those who disapprove of them.

Flat Earthers and "People living in reality" ... both have a sense of feeling superior to the other group...and so on and so on.

I guess I think if you don't let people at least discuss this it will be repressed and that never goes well in the long run.

Christians are right in one thing....currently they are the "religion" one can make fun of without repercussions...and that emboldens people. there are MANY Christians that deserve to be mocked...point being its safe today to do so with no repercussions.

Do a cartoon of the Muslim prophet and you might get a suicide bomber...and then its somehow racist to point this out.

....so in short....these Christians are complaining about a double standard, of course go back a few years and THEY had the double standard on THEIR side.

Personally I think everyone and everything should be occasionally mocked...if you cant laugh at yourself there are deeper issues there.
