The irony in that last sentence is that coal, beyond being a heavy pollutant, has already been overtaken economically by clean energy. Coal workers want to be re-trained for work in a viable industry. What Trump is doing is akin to opening up bags of garbage on the street to give more work to garbage men.

Or going to a summit on the health effects of cigarettes and trying to point out the benefits of cigarettes.
