Quote:It wasn't back then, and it isn't today. Greeks were just retelling the stories of the Egyptians and Mesopotamians millennia before them. Human experience really doesn't change that much. It just gets paint jobs.
Quote:However, there are differences between real mythologies and things like Star Trek, Star Wars, comics, etc.
Well, imagine WW3 happens. Einstein was right!
Humanity is thrust back to the stone age. 3 thousand years from now our ancestors find remnants (some how they were inside a sealed vault that protected them) of pictures and texts of the X-Men, Star Trek, or Avengers.
I could see them mistaking those things as ancient mans myths.
Age and a few centuries are all that's needed to make it happen.
"James told me there's an old saying here on Earth: May you be in heaven half an hour before the devil knows you're dead.
Not sure if Turian heaven is the same as yours, but if this thing goes sideways and we both end up there, meet me at the bar."
Legion: "They will exterminate your species because their gods tell them to. You cannot negotiate with them. They do not share your pity, remorse, or fear."
