One could already argue it was an issue before him. Conservatives in general have a movement that almost assumes the women are lying. Not all but enough. And the men counter movement is basically that. It is not unique to Stone. Stone just turned it around on Dems in general.

The irony is that Dem's will typically step down. GOP is hit or miss. Some do, but Moore did not and Trump has not. So, it has not hurt them as much as one would think. Moore lost, so I guess it was not totally true but those that backed he and Trump are very much that mentality.

Stone is a flame thrower and an idiot. Frankin, as far as I know, has said some of the other allegations are potentially credible. I recall that. One of them was from a very conservative woman, not that it matters, but has a history that makes some of the accusations a bit questionable.

He did the right thing honestly. I have liked the guy but he did the right thing.

Probably. But I'm concerned that what could have been a grey area of indiscretion split negatively against Franken because of Stone. I guess we'll never know.
