I was going to do this on New Years (Day.), but I decided not to. Actually, I just got lazy. But it is a brand new year, and I do want to make some (Positive.) changes and do some things that I've never tried before. And heck, it is for a good cause and for charity, which I give to and help out when possible (I'm something of a do-gooder.). Do you have to train ahead of time or in advance for it, and if so, what kind of training do you have to do and for how long (Days, a week, etc.)? There is one thing that I'm REALLY worried about, though. No, it's not getting Frostbite or Hypothermia or anything like that (Which many people who do this seemingly get.). No, this is something far crueler and far worse: SHRINKAGE!

Thanks.

We had to get up very early and when it was cold and swim a mile out to an island and a mile back.

It wasn't ice...but it was cooollldddd....and for a lot longer.

Still not the sub-freezing temperatures you are talking about.
