The reason places like Chicago, Even though they have strict gun laws are filled with guns is quite simple. All of the surrounding places don't have the same strict gun law that they do. So it is quite easy to get guns form these places and bring them into Chicago. Common sense....

Assuming that's the only case, it's still a FAILURE of being able to enforce the laws. Also, southern states (Like Virginia and Vermont.) usually have lax gun laws but low homicide rates. Also, research Washington and the Assault Ban. Washington also has strict gun laws yet is still very dangerous.
