Again, MOST guns that are used in crimes are NOT obtained legally!

For every time a gun is used in self-defense in the home, there are 7 assaults or murders, 11 suicide attempts, and 4 accidents involving guns in or around a home. In 2014, according to FBI data, nearly eight times more people were shot and killed in arguments than by civilians trying to stop a crime."

In other words, use of guns for self-defense are much more rare than using a gun in aggression, for suicides, or in accidents. Therefore, having more guns makes matters worse, not better.


 Also, a BIIIG thing that people who don't care for guns either don't understand or never say is that mass shootings happen in places where peope DON'T have guns or protection.
