OK friends you're given the power to amend the US constitution.
Can be as detailed or a simple as you want
it can simultaneously repeal a related clause
However the main restriction is that it is only allowed to deal with one subject. For example if your amendment deals with gun rights, you can't also make a clause for a term limits. If you have a balanced budget amendment you can't simultaneously eliminate the electoral college.
Legal bribes (I'm not naive enough to think we can get rid of them altogether) and by that I mean the lobbyists. I would pass an amendment prohibiting any and all private, corporate, religious, non-profit, PAC or any similar organization from petitioning elected officials for policy change and/or contributing to their campaign funds.
Elected officials are beholden to the people and serve their interests. No one else's. We've got a lot of problems in this country and a lot of bad laws on the books, nearly all of which can be traced back to some group's greed. Usury made legal for the banks and credit card companies, dangerous or untested drugs hitting market for big Pharma, chemicals and additives in our food supply (that Europe and the rest of the world doesn't allow), the NRA stymieing common sense gun legislation, and that's just the tip of the iceberg.
