OK friends you're given the power to amend the US constitution.


Can be as detailed or a simple as you want
it can simultaneously repeal a related clause

However the main restriction is that it is only allowed to deal with one subject. For example if your amendment deals with gun rights, you can't also make a clause for a term limits. If you have a balanced budget amendment you can't simultaneously eliminate the electoral college.



This would be tough because there are a fair number of them that are needed pretty badly.

The one that I think is most needed at the moment (despite the needs to deal with gun rights, limiting corporate personhood etc) would be to ensure that the president is held to ethical and legal norms. Those have gone out the window recently.

Making the whole executive branch more or less scoff at ethics rules.
