I would agree if the wait wasn't excessive and they were polite. But it is the establishments right to make you leave as well. Sounds like they were asked to leave and they were refused. That moves the problem more onto being their side.

While bathrooms as supposed to be open to the public (I don't think you can be refused access). It sounds like they were being more than a little disruptive.
