Exactly. They wouldn't be delivering sensitivity training if, this was such an odd thing to have done. If anyone else could be expected to do the same thing why is she being punished.
Quote:A company spokesperson said Starbucks does not have a broad policy prohibiting people from using restrooms or sitting inside for free, allowing individual stores to set their own rules.
Quote:The Philadelphia Starbucks store where the arrest occurred has a rule in place that customers can only use restrooms if they purchase something.
This is really all that needs to be said. It's their policy straight up. But the PC-Nazi's at Starbucks coffee apparently DO decide to make policy decisions based on race biases.
Quote:It's not difficult - either people can stay in free of charge or they can't. It isn't a race issue and sensitivity training stinks of 'the blacks must be treated differently' - which actually ranks of racism by treating black people differently.
This is always the hardest thing to make people realize. By treating them differently not only are they now NOT being treated like everyone else...it starts to weigh on the mind and change people perceptions.
It reminds me of the most racist comment I have ever heard...that "minorities cannot be racist". The blind stupidity of that statement is mind boggling to me...though it never wins me any fans when I say this. ;P
