I agree with you, but physics also had to open up to accept things that are hard to demonstrate at the moment. Dark matter for instance, does not seem to play by the normal rules of things, other than gravity. Dark energy is even more confusing.

I agree with science trying to figure things out but it also becomes an interesting point about when things fail to be testable. Just because it cannot be now does not mean it never will be but things like String Theory etc. are really hard to provide much proof for outside of mathmatics.

Not saying religion fills those gaps at all, not at all, just saying that in a philosophy of science sort of way they are always odd ducks.


I don't agree with Ancient One and apparently neither does Stephen Hawking.
