    Quote:
Big deal, your uncle and your grandmother. Not exactly as desperate as a dying kid in the hospital, is it. And spare your "why would I fear death any more than I'd fear going to sleep" bullshit. That just proves you're scared and whistling in the graveyard. You only talk that way with the comfort of knowing that death is likely far, far away.

So you assign value to a life? How many grandmothers' lives equal 1 child's life in your world?

Are you SERIOUSLY trying to argue that the loss of someone you love - whoever that someone may be - is not a big deal? Wow! I can only shake my head sadly.

And I'm 54 now. I've had friends and family much younger than myself die of natural causes. The likelihood of my developing a serious illness increases every day. I could be gone tomorrow for all I know. None of us know how much time we have.
