The pressure cooker is getting too much for precious skin democrats to handle. But oddly enough, she's the smartest of the bunch and democrats would be wise to heed.

If Trump were to stop it first, Cher said, the president would be considered a hero and make Democrats look like "obstructionist swamp scum." She added that Trump "has no scruples" but that the president is "playing it right."

This is absolutely correct. Trump is now in a win-win situation. If he reopens, he gets to look like the hero AND gets to declare a national emergency for the border wall. He gets rights to the speech on how he couldn't allow any more suffering for federal employees and food stamp recipients, while democrats would be accountable for valuing illegal aliens above United States citizens.

Democrats are now in a sad hole. If they're smart, they'll cave. But if they cave, they'll look stupid and weak.

I agree with Cher and I am glad that people are finally admitting that Nancy Pelosi is part of the problem. I saw her speech and she was so bad at speaking I just laughed. Her and Hilary are both from the same patch of grass that is covered in horse droppings. She needs to negotiate a settlement with Trump and give him his wall money and get other things in return that the Democrats want. I am hoping people begin having the same anger toward her and Schumer about this shutdown that they do towards Trump if they dont resolve this soon. All these federal workers should be equally blaming Pelosi as well as Trump for not getting paid.
