It's true words have changed meaning over time as well...so it could have meant something totally other than how we see it now. (Though to be fair this applies to that song its cold outside too ;P)

I just contend that Baby its Cold Outside is a horrible Christmas song. I am cool if radios play it, just a song about seduction is not that festive to me.
