Again, back to the ad hominem attacks. It doesn't support you nearly as much as you think it does. Democrats don't solely see hypocrisy where there is none. Republicans don't solely see hypocrisy where there is none. People do that.
If the baker didn't own the business, what then? Let's say he was an employee who worked at the bakery department of a big grocery store and the owner wanted him to bake/design the cake? Under that circumstance, he'd have to put his religious reasons to the side, in your view?
Here's the deal, and let's tie it back into what we were talking about above. I have a post above on censorship vs. free-market boycotts which I don't know if you saw.
Joe Rogan allowed misinformation on his platform that can hurt people. (at least in the views of those who are calling for change).
Some conservatives on Twitter have been banned for the same reason.
President Trump was banned from Twitter for breaking their rules by glorifying violence (Twitter's stated reason).
These are things that can hurt people. And this is where you see Democrats drawing a line in the sand.
Colin Kaepernick peacefully took a knee during the National Anthem. But this crossed a line? And Rogan and Trump did not?
Conservatives (regarding Kaepernick) tried to enact change by voicing their displeasure. Kaepernick's actions did not align with their values, and they got the change they sought. He was blacklisted from the NFL (probably illegaly according to employment law, but I am not a lawyer).
Similarly, Democrats are trying to enact change by voicing their displeasure (canceling Spotify accounts).
Why are the two different?
