What’s the difference, other than scale, if I believe a rock in my front yard is “God” than the entire universe? Pretend that for some reason, I believe that this rock is “God” but don’t believe it has any powers or is anything special from any other rock. I can’t explain why I think it’s “God”, what godhood characteristics it has, but I’m willing to ream somebody who says I don’t believe in “God”. So, would I really believe in “God”; or, more likely, misunderstand what “God” means?

The difference is:

A rock monotheist would believe that just one particular rock was god.

A pantheist would believe that many or all rocks are gods.

An atheist would say 'Dont be silly. They're just rocks'.

So in other words, you agree that the rocks exist but are inappropriately labeled “gods”. Isn’t that different than believing in an intangible God whose body isn’t seen and whose existence is therefore questionable? Which is my point, that pantheists are actually just confused atheists that for some crazy reason label rocks as gods? Which makes as much sense as believing a transwoman is an actual biological woman?
