It sounds like an atheist would say there is no God, no afterlife, and that creation happened on its own.

Spot on.

Well, not on it's own, but the cause was a natural one that had no need of supernatural intervention to occur.

If I may expand on atheism a little here?

Many people - including atheists themselves - say there's a clear distinction between being an atheist (Who doesn't believe there's a god) and an agnostic (Who's not sure).

But all 'atheist' means is 'Without god'. That's the way I live my life. I don't see any compelling evidence for god, nor any other supernatural event or force.

But I won't say there ABSOLUTELY is no god. I can't. That would be dishonest. I can say I have a very high degree of certainty that the Judeo-Christian God is mythical. But *some* kind of god? Still extremely unlikely, but slightly more possible.

But my mind could be changed. And I think most atheists are the same. Give me some good solid evidence - Or better yet, proof, and you'll change my mind.

And it sounds like a pantheist might say there is a God, there might be an afterlife or reincarnation, God may have caused the universe to form. But that God is now within all of creation. And some might say that God is still conscious and can effect change, while others might say no, and others might not commit an answer one way or another.

Spot on again.
