I would agree with incomplete, we only know what we know. Although given I am not an economist that studies this sort of thing for a living I would say it will always be incomplete as it is not my specific area of study. 

However, just with the last few posts we have exchanged (which I do find interesting) I would not say that I am certain (if I was) but I am still skeptical on a practical level that there is much that can be done quickly within the presidents power. 

That said, I am supportive of your general idea of trying what can be tried, I just would have minimal hope that much or any of it would make it through the gauntlet in the end. 

And it would probably be tricky to do on every item on which there is a shortage.
