Straight forward question: What is your criteria for a good day? How do you make yourself feel better after a bad one?

For me, a good day is one where from the moment I wake up in the morning to the moment I go to sleep at night if I can get through that time period with out any major incidents in my life it is overall a good day for me at least.

If I am having a bad day I tend to turn to nostalgia. Old cartoons, sitcoms, movies or video games with characters I knew growing up. Watching or playing as your favorite heroes is better than watching or playing something that is the same except for a character you know nothing about.

It is hard to put a finger on it. For me days without pressing issues other than some chores that is mostly spent with friends and family or just relaxing. Not thinking about the next deadline.

A bad day would be days of intense stress for whatever reason. Days I feel down, overwhelmed and defeated or that there is no way out of the amount of stuff to do. Or something like that.

I like watching movies or at least having movies on or just being in a quiet place for a while. Having my dogs near me during a movie seems to help me or the little ones. Although they cannot watch some of the movies I watch quite yet, the dogs are old enough to not care.
