Straight forward question: What is your criteria for a good day? How do you make yourself feel better after a bad one?

For me, a good day is one where from the moment I wake up in the morning to the moment I go to sleep at night if I can get through that time period with out any major incidents in my life it is overall a good day for me at least.

If I am having a bad day I tend to turn to nostalgia. Old cartoons, sitcoms, movies or video games with characters I knew growing up. Watching or playing as your favorite heroes is better than watching or playing something that is the same except for a character you know nothing about.

A good day is when I accomplish something - work on personal projects, get work done on the house, help a friend in some way, (at the very least) have a great workout, etc.

A bad day is when I don't really do anything, I feel like I have wasted that day.
