Just pointing out how your debate with zvelf’s personal position somehow became you indicting all liberals in general.
My disagreement isn't against zvelf. It's against liberalism. Insofar as a person subscribes to liberalism I indict them. Not personally but politically. Insofar as I can tell zvelf doesn't harbor a unique political position anymore than I do. It's an ideological difference, not an idiosyncratic one. Similar to how you might feel about reactionary conservatism, MAGAism, or fundamentalist Christianity. You don't hate these people personally but you'd probably have a of contempt for those beliefs, think they're harmful, incorrect, prejudicial, what have you. I'm not suggesting liberalism is btw as bad as those things per se, just that the dynamic is analogical.
