Reform the FBI to appease conservatives? Or for more corrective ones with issues that have gone on for decades?

To me, stuff dealing with Trump is almost secondary. Trump is a symptom of sorts that brought a disease to bare that is the real problem. It brought Trump to power and he basically let them know that it was alright to be terrible.

That group has no regards for anything other than striking down what is in their way and they are running on the platforms to undo democracy and punish enemies.

To me, if Trump is guilty than he should not be allowed to run for anything and in a perfect world would not be a viable candidate after Jan 6th but that is not the case for either.

I am for reform of police and law enforcement but it is not for the reasons conservatives seem to be pushing for at the moment.

With the current situation anything involving Trump is going to be a mess because it is what he likes to do and claims everything is always political and he is the ultimate victim despite being the ultimate manly man.

LGDB: certainly the latter. I'm asking about the larger systemic problems with the FBI. The temporary conservative interest in FBI reform is almost certainly due to Trump's recent legal troubles and in bad faith.

I'm asking do you think the larger priority should be making Trump ineligible for the presidency or reforming the FBI?
