First- Since Victor considered himself the "father" of the monster and did indeed bring him alive into the world would that actually make the creature a Frankenstein by birth? So maybe all of us calling it Frankenstein was accurate all along?

Do you know of any movies, books, etc. where the original brain owner take over the creature?

Questions such as these plague those of us with insomnia way more than would be considered normal. o_O

I think some of the movies had the brain awakening in the body and being horrified but its been awhile.

Then of course there is the movie Young Frankenstein, where Igor tells Gene Wilder the name of the brain....."Abby....Normal!"

If memory serves in that movie, he tried to work with his creation and retrain him but in the end had to transfer some of his IQ into the monster to stabilize him.
