Oh, I think the monarchy is on the way out. It might take another twenty years, but their days are numbered. Charles isn't respected at all.

Elizabeth was a unique phenomenon. We won't see her like again. Nor did we ever see her like before. No hard power at all, yet a surprising amount of soft power, fueled entirely by her dignity, honor, gentleness, and genuine humility.



He's old and probably thinks traditionally. But what if he passes in the next 10 years and William takes over? Maybe a young monarchy for the 21st century?
