The Terrifics! Yeah, yeah, it's a rip off of Marvel's FF. And maybe DC already dropped the ball with The Impossibles (from Future Quest). It does NOT mean this team/title isn't anticipated or doesn't sound interesting. The twist, there has to be one, on the "copied" premise could be fun! And preview art has been released for your speculation and appreciation...

The choice in line-up is genuinely interesting I feel, Mr Terrific is always good value as he is a particular favourite of mine, as is Phantom Girl! Metamorpho has just the right powers and background to really add genuine story quality to any team, while Plastic Man... is the wild card member to any team.

It's the Fantastic Four, or perhaps rather a modern take on the Challengers of the Unknown. But the FF does leave a powerful vacuum on the comics market and this is a book that could be tailor made to fill it. My Fingers are crossed! \(yes\)

(Curious to bear in mind that if this is Tinya then Phantom Girl is of the 31st century, and extra-dimensional at the same time. Mr Terrific is also experiences with other dimensions. And Metamorpho has a very strong background as an 'Indiana Jones' adventurer originally. All of that makes for a very versatile story-engine, and is far far more 'Fantastic Four' than 'Challengers'...)
