Previous Post Loved it. Wasn't sure what to think before watching, but the first episode had me intrigued. Will continue to watch. Painful interactions with Police that hit very close to home... Way too real. Various themes of the show were set into place and I'm hoping the show can continue to deliver.

I just watched the second episode last night.

I like the whole dynamic that he stopped being a hero to appease his wife, but she left him anyway and just when it looks like they might get back, the shit has hit the fan and he says listen I'm going to be Black Lightning, I should have been all along anyway, you can like it or lump it. I think that took more courage for him than actually fighting.

The older daughter is a lesbian, but is she in the closet? Her parents say she is at her girlfriend's house but say it like they're friends not lovers.

Does Tobias have superpowers? Why does he think Black Lightning is dead?
