Suicide Squad 034

Is it better writing when a "Black Comedy" is (in some way maybe ironically) funny or just revolting? This was definitely the latter. Waller is now the most irredeemable character in the DCU after this issue. Ugh. Bad enough she orchestrated this decompresed 2-parter that would have been less sad sack emotive if only done in one issue - with a tortured fate more suited for the classic House of Mystery or House of Secrets genre runs. She also, and more disgustingly, convinced Katana to cut off the arms of "Schmuck-man" (Juan Soria aka Volunteer 529) and disturbingly 'rewarded' him by ordering him to bunk with Killer Croc for the monster's midnight cravings. This book also makes Katana and Croc come across more cruel than before. But Waller. Waller really bothered me with her actions - which was probably the intent - and there may be no coming back from this.

Were you bothered with the epilogue? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_comedy
Do you like Waller more or less now? Katana? Croc?

Nice cover.

Wow, this sounds gawd awful nasty. Who is writing this, was it supposed to be humorous?
