I'm not reading it, despite being a great Legion fan, and perhaps therein lies a large part of the problem with this latest relaunch - it assumes that there is an audience out there for it.
An audience separate from oldtimers or existing comicbook buyers. The problem is though that the Legion is a very acquired taste, it simply doesn't appeal to the mass audience generally unless, perhaps, is has Superboy, Clark kent as its central star and anchor-point. He was always the draw for the masses, the book survived his departure back in the day true, but he was still there in the books background and available for a return at any time needed.

Jon Kent, especially after Brian Bendis' tinkering with him, is simply not established enough with the mass audience to be the anchor and attraction that Clark kent/Superboy was. He doesn't have that star-power or the history. Even to me, someone who enjoyed his introduction to the Superman mythos and his series with Robin, I cannot yet connect to this new aged up version as it is completely artificial and undermines some of the appeal of the character as created.

So this, along with the all new and different Legion and its universe, has no selling point to me. It lacks a draw.

I do wish it the best, but I am a realist, it has no chance of finding any lasting or meaningful audience... not in this ever-shrinking marketplace. \(euh\)

Think that Legion will be setting up the new 5 G DCU, and that Jon will be sooner than later taking over as main SAupes for his Dad!
