Legion of Superheroes 002 (2020)

> It’s been one thousand years since anyone has seen the oceans of the Earth, but with Aquaman’s original trident recently discovered, a chase to control Earth’s future tears across the galaxy. All this and the reunion you’d never thought you’d see! Another DC sci-fi epic into the far-flung future like you’ve never seen before!

A LOT of DCU namedropping to TRY to grab readers' attention.

Ultra Boy regretfully confesses that his father is a famous despot and an enemy of the LSH.

Saturn Girl has one incredible power showing.

No one else from the legion of characters really stood out at all.

Already forget the Trident-stealing bad guy.

Rose's presence continues to be BAFFLING to this reader and U.P. President Brande (same name, different alien) as well.

Superboy makes a BONEHEAD decision to recruit Damian.

But other than that and the detailed artwork this relaunch has me completely AMBVIALENT.

Wanted to be excited with this but was NOT. How 'bout YOU?

Nice cover, though, and the book made #5 top digital seller this week at link below. Who else doesn't expect to see it in Top 10 next month?

Support Cancer Research and Alzheimer Research.

I have enjoyed the Legion since the mid 60's.
There have been ups/downs............but this really
seems to be "a down". Not interested in this line up
at all.
