Maybe there's a chance for a good Fantastic Four movie after all

    Quote:
"21st Century Fox has been holding talks to sell most of the company to Walt Disney Co., according to people familiar with the situation.
Disney would not purchase all of Fox, according to people with knowledge of the talks.
Fox is said to believe that a more tightly focused group of properties around news and sports could compete more effectively.
The two sides are not currently talking at this very moment, sources said."

As I recall, a European company called Constantin Films owns the rights but they have an agreement with Fox to produce the films

I think we should just give up on the idea of a good Fantastic Four movie. It isn't meant to be.

It wasn't that long ago that Marvel Studios exec Kevin Feige was saying there was no chance for Marvel getting back the rights to the Fantastic Four. Now this. The only hurdle left would be Constantin Films but the could just make the same arrangement with Disney/Marvel that they had with Fox.
