That is the original Wolverine. Marvel's been teasing him in other mags on his return and that he's in possession of one of the Infinity Stones.

Yup. And if we look on the cover of #3 - in the top left quadrant - we see the "Where Is Wolverine?" logo. Other Marvel books this month - maybe all of them? - have that logo on the cover and Logan on the last page. This in itself may be a clue. Sure seems like Wolverine is all over the place. Could his Infinity Stone be allowing him to do this? It's kind of ironic because Wolverine for quite a few years has routinely been all over the place - but there was less blatancy about it. More of a wink and a nod sort of thing. What we have here now is in-your-face omnipresence.

Gearing up for the movie to be released but moreso for a new event revolving around Adam Warlock and the stones (not the band...haha) return. Besides Warlock, another FF original heavily involved in the event will be the Super Skrull. Apparently also in possession of a stone.

Super Skrull! Oh how I love that guy. I didn't always. Annihilation made me love him. I would buy a Super Skrull comic. I wish Marvel would publish one.
