And no way he's dead DEAD. I mean, yeah, his body is, but he had the sonic canon, and we all know what happens when that thing is left lying around I wanted an after scene where it was in storage and started to act up on it's own.
Well, in the books, we had Klaw jumping into the big machine to become living sound. We saw his body transform into energy. In this, he's just shot with a bullet and unceremoniously dragged around as a corpse for a bit. Plus, this sonic cannon is an extremely mundane weapon, by comparison. It doesn't seem to have any truly special qualities. I think it really is too big of a stretch for him to return, and would feel like a cheat if he did.
In general, the movie ultimately treated the villains poorly, killing them both. It left feeling like the writers really don't care much for either of them.
Anything is certainly possible.
City of Heroes is BACK!
